無自性

(無自性, 无自性)

(sa) asvabhāva; without self-nature, without a nature of its own, no individual nature; all things are without [lang id =1028]自然性 individual nature or independent existence, being composed of elements which disintegrate.

指一切有為法無實在之自體。 又作無本性、 無性。 謂諸法皆因緣所生， 故無自性。 凡山河大地皆由四大假合而成， 四大相離， 物即坏滅；人亦為四大所成， 四大不調即成病， 四大相離則亡。 《中論》卷一稱： ‘如諸法自性， 不在於緣中；以無自性故， 他性亦復無。’ 見《成唯識論》卷九。

無有一定的自性。 一切法因緣和合而生， 都無一定的自性。
